Some phones - primarily Android devices require you to enter a SIM PIN before you can enter in the unlock code that Cellfservices provides. The SIM PIN is typically a 4 digit number that is unique to the SIM card you are using. Remember, we provide SIM unlock codes/Network unlock codes which allows you to unlock your phone and use it on any GSM carrier.
The SIM PIN is a password set by the network carrier that your SIM card is from and is NOT set on the actual phone itself. We do not carry SIM PINs, but the only people who have access to these is the wireless carrier that your SIM card is from.
How to Get your SIM PIN
If you need to get your SIM PIN, please contact the wireless carrier that the SIM card is from. Before you do so, you can check on the SIM card or SIM card booklet itself to see if there is a PIN labeled as your SIM PIN. If you have successfully entered in your SIM PIN, you should be asked to enter in the Network Unlock Code or Service Provider Unlock Code after - assuming you are following the unlocking instructions provided in our order tracking terminal. This is where you would enter in the 8-16 digit unlock code that we provided to you after you had made your purchase for your SIM unlock code.
Below is a comparison between the SIM PIN and the SIM Network unlock PIN screens.
